Janeeva executives have held prior roles as CEO's, CFO's, entrepreneurs and corporate executives all over the globe. The team has extensive experience in establishing and managing global operations, forming strong partnerships, building successful sales channels and strong customer relationships and delivering high-value technology solutions to major industry segments.
Vinay Gupta
Vinay is the founder and CEO of Janeeva Inc. Prior to launching Janeeva, Vinay was Entrepreneur in Residence with Ardesta LLC, a pioneer in investing in "small tech" MEMS companies. Through Ardesta, Vinay served as president of three venture backed companies: Sensicore, Discera and Translume.
In 1996, Vinay co-founded BlueGill Technologies, an Internet infra-structure company that specializes in Internet billing software. BlueGill was sold to CheckFree Corporation in 2000 for $250 million. Vinay has held positions as Managing Director-Asia Pacific and General Manager-India for Cabletron Systems, as well as Manager of Global Operations at NCR and Zenith Electronics. Vinay continues to serve on the board of directors for Translume.
Jim Diggs
Jim is responsible for partnerships, business development and Janeeva's "Thought Leadership" roles.
Jim has 30 years in technology companies with roles as vice president in ADP, IBM, BlueGill Technologies and in emerging start-up companies over the last 12 years including CEO of Adapted Wave Technologies and Mindport.
Jim was part of the original management team of BlueGill Technologies where he was responsible for business development forging partnerships with IBM, Xerox, Netscape, Broadvision and Double Click. He also led the BlueGill product line strategy and market development. Jim currently serves on the board of Cathedral Corporation.
Raj Rajen
Raj leads the development and implementation teams at Janeeva.
Raj has 19 years of technology industry experience as a senior developer with a focus on Web-based Enterprise Software.
Raj was most recently the Principal Architect at Mechanical Dynamics Inc. and MSC Software for their enterprise-level Collaborative Product Commerce (CPC) and Simulation Data Management (SDM) solutions. Prior to that, he led the technical teams at BlueGill Technologies, where he developed solution architecture and managed implementation for BlueGill's Fortune 100 customers.
Raj also has extensive experience in user interface design and analytical software development through senior technical positions at Automated Analysis Corporation and TNO (Netherlands).
Tony Spagnuolo
Tony is responsible for Major Account Sales and Sales Management at Janeeva.
Prior to joining Janeeva, Tony held positions as Vice President of North American Sales for Mechanical Dynamics and as President of Mechanical Dynamics, Japan (MDJ). He has also held positions as a senior sales executive for MSC Software and the National Automotive Test Center in Nevada.
