Janeeva is looking to recruit smart, out-of-the-box thinkers that enjoy the many aspects of web development including front-end (JavaScript, Flex/ActionScript, CSS, XHTML), application servers (Java, J2EE), information architecture (REST, SOA, XML) or analytics (OLAP, Dimensional Models, Business Intelligence). We are searching for people with a strong bent toward new technologies and a desire to insert their opinions in this relatively loose and creative environment.
SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
We're building leading-edge software with Flex, J2EE and OLAP Databases. We’d love it if you had all the skills listed below, and then some, but if you have most of this list and a strong penchant for acquiring the rest, please send us your resume!
- Master's degree and commercial product development experience (extra credit for SaaS) in Business Intelligence, CRM, ERP, BPM or other enterprise-class web based information systems.
- 6-8 years of object-oriented software development experience with hands-on ability in designing and developing complex, highly scalable multi-tenant web applications.
- Strong working knowledge of Java/J2EE technology stack (JSP, Servlets, XML), design patterns and Service Oriented Architecture.
- Proven ability to design scalable relational data models for data driven web applications using industry standard RDMS such as MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle or DB2.
- Hands-on experience with open source toolkits such as Struts, Spring, Velocity, Hibernate and AJAX libraries such as Prototype and Scriptaculous.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize elegant and innovative solutions to complex problems. Craftsmanship that translates into passion about coding, taking responsibility for deliverables, taking pride in your work.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and high-growth startup environment. Be resourceful, hard-working, reliable, and opinionated with excellent communication skills.
