Quality Assurance Engineer

If you’re an experienced Software Quality Assurance engineer, looking for a great opportunity, we want you! You will be involved in gathering requirements, creating and running test plans, and building real-world applications to certify the software for shipment and to provide an intuitive user experience.
- Bachelor's degree and prior QA experience with enterprise-class web-based systems.
- Working knowledge of web application technology (JSP, ASP, or PHP), XML and relational databases such as MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle or DB2.
- Familiarity with the setup and configuration of web servers and related technologies. Ability to build and deploy systems into web application servers such as JBoss or Tomcat.
- Scripting language experience (Perl, Groovy, Ruby, Python, or Unix shell) and command line proficiency with operating systems (Windows or Linux) is required.
- Experience testing web applications for usability, requirements and performance. Ability to create test scripts using commercial or open source testing toolkits.
- Critically think about how consumers will interact with the software being tested and turn those thoughts into finding bugs, listing action items, and opening avenues of discussion. Write functional and integrated system test plans according to system specifications.
- Experience with HTML and related CSS and Javascript technologies.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
- Past experience in outsourcing, BPO or call centers a plus.
